About Chin Liposuction
Achieve a Sculpted Jawline
Chin, or submental, liposuction removes excess fat from the area underneath your chin, enhancing the definition and sharpness of your chin and jawline for a slimmer, more sculpted appearance.
Why Consider Chin liposuction?
Excess fat beneath the chin can obscure the natural contours of your jawline, making your face appear rounder and less defined. Chin liposuction offers a solution that enhances your facial structure, providing a more defined and youthful appearance.
The Benefits:
Enhanced Definition: Achieves a sharper, more defined chin and jawline.
Slimmer Appearance: Creates a slimmer facial profile.
Improved Facial Harmony: Allows other noticeable features of your face, such as your smile and eyes, to shine.
What to Expect
Consultation: We will discuss your goals and determine if chin liposuction is the best option for you. This procedure is particularly beneficial for patients with good skin quality and minimal loose skin.
Procedure: Chin or submental liposuction is performed through small incisions that are well-hidden underneath the chin. The SAFELipo technique, a reliable and safe method that avoids laser or ultrasound, is used to ensure the best outcome without the risk of internal heat damage or contour irregularities.
Recovery: You will experience some bruising and swelling for several weeks after surgery, which generally decreases after the first week. A special compression garment will be provided to support the healing process. You will need to wear this garment for 2 weeks at all times, and then at home and while sleeping for an additional 2 weeks.
Why Choose Dr. Meredith Kugar?
I utilize the SAFELipo technique, a method I was trained in by its inventor, Dr. Simeon Wall, Jr. This technique avoids the risks associated with laser or ultrasound-assisted liposuction, providing a safer and more effective way to achieve your desired outcome. My approach ensures precision and safety, giving you the best possible results for a more defined and attractive jawline.
